There are now lots of options for managers who wish to wine and dine their customers and business associates in style with the aid of corporate hospitality. For example, firms can create a superb impression by organising corporate hospitality events at Twickenham, the home of English rugby.
It has never been easier to arrange suitable packages and bosses can be sure that their guests will be treated to excellent quality food, drink, service and entertainment.
The stadium makes the ideal setting for events like this. Meanwhile, the England team have been doing their bit to make matches at the ground extra special. By beating the Australians and the Argentineans in the first two Autumn Internationals, they gave fans plenty to celebrate.
Also, in future games the players will benefit from a newly refurbished dressing room. As part of a stadium redevelopment programme intended to help ensure that Twickenham’s facilities are top-notch ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2015 and beyond, the dressing room has been revamped.
Over the last four months, all player changing facilities have been upgraded and the warm-up, coaching, analyst and tunnel facilities have been improved. According to those behind the changes, they have created a distinctive look and feel that focuses on the history and core values of the sport.
Players will also have access to new hydrotherapy facilities and their medical suite has been enhanced.
England head coach Stuart Lancaster had lots of input into the new design. Commenting on the developments, he said: “We have been looking at ways to strengthen the squad’s identity and commitment both to each other and our supporters – the redevelopment of the changing room has an incredibly important role to play in this.
“As well as the obvious design changes to improve the warm-up, coaching and analyst areas, we decided on a whole new look and feel for the space with an emphasis on celebrating the heritage of England Rugby. For example, a wall of honour featuring the names of every player to be capped for England and then on the pegs in the players’ cubicles, there is a plaque with their name on top of a list of notable players in their position from the previous decades.”
He added that this was done to help players realise why they are taking part in the game and to recognise the individuals who preceded them.
Lancaster went on to state: “This will help them to get that feel of camaraderie and honour of playing for England when they are pulling on the white shirt with the red rose.”
According to the coach, this may help the players to connect more with the shirt and to realise that they are not just playing a game of rugby, but are in fact taking part in something special. Concluding, he remarked: “I think that brings you closer together as a group, which is invaluable in any team sport.
Anyone stuck for corporate entertainment ideas can head online to check out the various packages available at Twickenham, and elsewhere around the country.
